This summer I started a geocaching activity at a summer camp. The campers loved looking throughout the property and finding the hidden treasures (although we need to work on being “stealth”. It is hard to hide enthusiasm in kids!) On the last day of the week they would hide and mark a new cache, so the camp property is now up to about 15 caches! We cannot post these caches to the public because the camp is an active summer camp and rental on off season, but the girls wanted to place a cache that we could publish. So we hid one on the edge of the property and made a travel bug to place inside it. They are excited about following the progress of both! The girls had a blast learning to find and hide geocaches and are excited to do this activity at home with their families!
The cache is hidden on the edge of private property with permission of the resident manager. Please park to the side of the entrance drive and do not drive up the gravel road.
Have fun finding the cache!
Congrats to FTF Team Getz!
