Geocache Description:

The West fork of the White mountains holds a great significance for my family and is essentially a family reunion every August. There are now three generations of my family that return to this lushish and beautiful Gods country every year. The Wallow fire devistated this area and nearly wiped out the West fork. Due to the fire, camping is not permitted in this area at the current time. However I hope that you enjoy the beauty of the West fork while searching for this cache. The road is blocked and there is a hefty fine if you go around the barricades with a vehicle, however you can park and walk about a mile in to the cache. I hope that this cache still brings people back to the West fork camping grounds to remember its beauty and tall wild grass fields.

This cache is placed in memory of Bea Foster. She was a wonderful and loving woman who started our large family's tradition of camping in the white mountains, and she is always here when we return every August. In this cache we have placed items of hers or that remind us of her. In the spirit of this cache, we ask that you place items that remind you of the people closest to your heart and that you move the items in the cache along so that others may share in the memory.

It should not be necessary to remove the entire cache, just this lid. Please hide as well if not better when returning.

Congratulations to LoveShackDuo for the first to find! (11/28/2013, 1pm)
