Cache is located at a good location. It is near the top of a true "hill" that commands a decent view on its approach. Its also along the Ralph C. Ewell Greenway, where another cache is located. From geodetic survey maps, Beech Hill is 186' above sea level. Interestingly, while reviewing topo maps to find the high point, I found what appears to be a higher location on the 1949 topo map. A place called Huckleberry Hill was 190' high, but now sits under runway 17/35 of the now closed South Weymouth Naval Air Station. So, Beech Hill is now the top!
Parking near cache at the trail head on Beech Street. Cache is a medium sized blue waterproof match container. There is no room for swag. Bring your own pen. The trails in this area have not been maintained in years and have become somewhat overgrown with briars. Fallen trees abound. The path to GZ is discernable though and easy to follow. Much beyond this cache though the trail is very faint and easily lost. The mountain bike obstacle course is in ruins.
