This is my first ever cache to hide and its located at a popular landmark in Shelbyville, TN.
Hiding this cache today was actually my first visit to this location. I have driven by here many times but never stopped to check it out.
While I was there, I was approached by a woman on a golf cart who asked me what I was doing. I obviously wasn't there feeding the ducks. I explained to her my goal and she understood because someone else had hidden a cache there before. It must be a disabled one or deleted one because its not listed on the site. But this lady was the property owner. I had always thought that it was city land. But its all hers and she gave me permission to hide the cache. She even offered some suggestions and gave me a quick ride on the golf cart! But I found a suitable spot on my own.
Parking is limited, but there is a place to pull off of the road by the white section of fence. Its a nice location and a path has been added that leads to a sitting area. Ducks everywhere! So bring some bread or dry dog food to feed them. They will appreciate it and they are very use to it.
You won't have to swim or even get wet to find the cache. I logged the coordinates and feel they may be a little off. Not sure why.
If the FTF would like to let me know what coordinates you show, I will update the cache.
