DON'T PANIC: We went for a walk this evening and I stopped to check on this one.

MISSING

Very difficult to replace with the original concept. Maybe something else will show up in this area before long.

Geocache Description:

Sally sells seashells by the seashore pond!

Bring kids. They should enjoy this one.

Finding the regular sized container should be easy. Finding the log will be slightly more difficult. The container is completely full with no room for trade items. I have included a pencil and paperclips (might be helpful when removing log). Feel free to bring an appropriate item of your own to trade OR feel equally free to take an item of your choosing without trading. I have plenty I can use to restock. There is one item that MUST remain in the contianer. You will know it when you see it. Please handle everything with care and replace EXACTLY as found so that it is not noticed by passers-by.

The geocache is hidden in a quiet and seldom used neighborhood park. This is another spot I would not have discovered if not for geocaching. Fig the Newt was hidden nearby and was one of the first geocaches I found. Since then we run/walk/stroll through this area often. There are several ways to access the park. Make sure you use one of them and don't cut through anyones yard! Parking can be found at N 40° 10.329 W 076° 11.062 or N 40° 10.272 W 076° 10.986. At both of these locations you should see an overgrown stone/gravel path leading down to a small playground and tennis court. You can also walk here from the Ephrata's Rail-to-Trail Linear Park (parking lot on Fulton st.). Follow the grass path at the bottom of the stairs ( N 40° 10.391 W 076° 11.241 ) and it will take you around the backside of the pond.

Absolutely no night geocaching! Do you best to keep the geocache location hidden from the neighbors who might be looking out their windows. If you have kids with you they will enjoy sorting through the contents at the bench back up the hill near the playground. HAVE FUN!
