Cemeteries and graveyards are unique places, where our dearly departed are laid to rest and us who remain can come to mourn, remember, and cherish the love and memories they left behind. I have always found cemeteries fascinating; to some they can be peaceful and serene while to others seem eerie and foreboding. I have come to love cemeteries and graveyards for the calm and contemplative feelings they evoke in me, and there are always stories to be discovered if curiosity is piqued.
In Silent Repose is a series of graveyard and cemetery caches located around Mid-Michigan. Please remember to be respectful of the gravesites and to cache only during daylight hours or during the posted graveyard/cemetery hours.
