Geocache Description:

Cache is a small size lock and lock containing a log book, pen and stickers required to fill your passport for the 2013 Exhibition Geocache Challenge.

When the water disappeared from here the horses began running. It was pretty slippery though, so eventually we moved the event to an oval. From the 1790s until the mid-1860s, horses ran through the mud, with race days attracting almost half the city’s population. Refreshment tents were set up in the area of Thorne Avenue and the jockeys wore “flashy silks.” By 1865 the racing track was east to Torryburn.
