Geocache Description:

An educational and easy walk along the nature trail loop in Thompson Park. There is a covered picnic area, lots of parking and restrooms. The park facilities are open from May to November. During the winter months you will have to park on Chilliwack River Road.

Thompson Park was developed by the Chilliwack River Valley Ratepayers' Association and donated to the Fraser Valley Regional District.

Please do your part and CITO!!

Bucky B was a busy beaver. He cut down a whole lot of trees and built several dams here. I don't think Bucky is still here but evidence of his extensive hard work remains.

The cache is placed next to one of Bucky's larger tree cutting endeavors. It is a small recycled camo'd container and further camo'd with natural material. Please re-hide carefully as several caches have gone missing in this park.

The cache contains log book, pencil and sharpener along with some swag and a bag of polished stones. Please trade fairly, especially for the stones. There is a thematic pin for the FTF.
