Geocache Description:

June 29th, 2014

Red lights and sirens blared through all 5 decks as the Norfol 4-90 shuddered with the impact. Brawzen sank into his control panel, powering through the main computer to reach the source of the crash. His hard drive had almost made it when a second impact shook him free of the circuitry. He reattached his cybernetic hand attachment and ran to the main deck, passing the living Beanians as they exited the small craft.

He had to make it to the main console or the mission would be lost.

He gave up on using his slow legs and opted for wheel power and rocketed his way to the lift, making it inside just before the doors closed. The lift made horrible grinding noises but Brawzen turned off his hearing for the ride. As soon as the doors opened, he darted out scanned the floor of the main deck. The panel should have been around the left console, if it wasn't jammed…

His scans alerted him to the handle, which he yanked on to gain access to the computer below. He jumped past the ladder, which would have resulted in two broken legs, if he had bones to break. The cyborg picked himself up and hustled over to central computer, flipping off his central paneling to reveal a convoluted mass of wiring and circuitry. He reached in and grabbed a thick, colorful cord and plugged it into the front of the main computer bank, downloading the data from the impacts as swiftly as he could.

Another impact rocked the ship as information flooded his systems. He knew he only had minutes, maybe seconds left on board. The only way out at this point would be with the black box. He dashed around the computers, bound for the corner “closet” that was actually the crash computer and its escape pod. He shifted his fingers into the key, pressing them into the lock as soon as he could reach it. Once he got the door open, he realized there was next to no space for him to fit as is. Luckily, cyborgs have a bit of flexibility in their shape. Brawzen unplugged his left arm, shoving it down next to the computer. He climbed on top of the box, pulling his legs off and placing them on top of his arm. Last but not least, he pulled the door shut, tucking his right arm into the crevice he had left for it. The locks sealed, and the entire pod shook again.

The systems were failing, and failing fast. Brawzen felt the crash computer begin to detach itself, and he began his shutdown procedure. The last thing he felt was the force of the escape pod jettisoning from his beloved Norfol 4-90.

Brawzen left behind a code. Collect all the codes from the crew to find the ship.
