Letter - Dear Parents,
Today Saturaday July 09th 1983 benn hiking. Equipped with distance meter and compass we been able to follow our track on the map exactly. We hiked from the youth camp below mountains "Buchberg" and "Kaiserberg" along to the "Mannsgraben" passed the restaurant "Forellenschänke" until we reached a smal cottage named "Tannenhütte". During a brake there we played around in the forest on a big root where I must have lost my notes. Will look again there if we can find them.
The notes had been missing already when we reached the boundary stone two-ten on the smal river "Sebnitz" which is 242 m and 338° awai from the root. We went into the water cooling down our feet for a while. We left than along the smal footpath upstream for 150 m to the boundary stone two-fourteen before reaching a well biger path.
We followed the bigger path in direction NE-to-E before turning right to join the "Berningweg" for 260 m for a shortcut to the mountain "Wolfstein". The pass uphill was hard for the next 200 m until we reached a hunters aised hide near to a smal grasland in the middle of the woods.
Afterward the path towards was easier the next 270 m heading E to S until we reached an interesting split stone. We had look closer and toke the chance to place a smal treashure.
Before next rest 315 m SE'ly we climbed up to the "Wolfstein" and after another break we been heading directly back to the camp.
Yourth Kalle
