Geocache Description:

This has been changed to a magnetic nano. I felt that there was a gap in the Sidetracked series so have placed this one near Chapel en le Frith staion. Without permission from Northern Rail the cache has to away from station premises. Its an easy cache and dash as you can park on the road. It is also on the route of a scenic walk which can be incorporated in both the Combs series and The Halls of CELF series.

This will take you to the station at Chapel-en-leFrith on the Manchester Buxton line, which was opened in July 1863. It is looked after by the Friends of Chapel-en-le-Frith Station who celebrated the 150th anniversary of the station in July 2013. It is much further from the village centre than the Central Station on the Midland line which was closed in 1967.
