Geocache Description:

The area of the cache site offers fantastic across St. Ouen's Bay. Please treat the site with respect as there are some sharp falls but you do not need to go near them to collect the cache. Definitely not suitable for 'Free Range Children'!!

From the cache site surrounding area you can see the whole of St. Ouen's Bay - a fantastic view and even better if you manage to be there at sunset. The beach is very popular with surfers when the tide is up and dog walkers in the winter months. The cache name comes from the local name for the beach - The Five Mile Road - and stretches from La Pulente at the southern end to L'Etacq at the northern end. In the centre of the bay is Rocco Tower which can be reached at low tide but check the tide times becore venturing out to it. On a clear day you can also see Guernsey, Herm, Jethou, Brechou and Sark.
