The location is at the northeast point of Laishley Park. The park has a marina, kids water-park thingy, restaurant, a few shops, and an ice-cream shop. (yum) There are many events during the year, a favorite being the annual Chili Cook-off!
There are paved paths for use with walking, biking, boarding, etc.
You can make a Geocaching day-of-it being that there are several more caches as you walk/travel up/down the paths over a mix of pavement and wooden boardwalks along the Peace River, about two miles round-trip. Or you can drive and park near the other caches as they have small park areas near them.
