This is the 1st Annual FL SWAG Kick Off Event. This is the kick off event, with many more events to follow in the next few months put on by the original "crew" that is in the process of making our area a family. From there we hope to take off! Although this is a kick off event for our area...anyone and everyone is invited to join in the fun!
The event take place in the Log CabinPavilion at the south end of the park. You can access this from the south/main entrance off of 72 (closer) or by the north entrance off of Clay Gully Road. This entrance is open on the weekends. With there now being approximately 100 caches in the park you will have plenty to do before and after the event. And of course all of the other stuff the park has to offer!
9:00 am - 10:00 am - Registration
10:00 am - Games
11:30 am - Grill starts for pot luck lunch
12:30 pm - Raffle
This will be a fun filled event with games, caches, food and friends. It will be a pot luck event so please list with your "will attend" how many will be coming in your group as well as what you will be bringing. Please bring your own drinks!! Hot dogs, buns, ketchup, mustard, onions, sauerkraut, and relish will be provided!
During the event we will have some games as well as a raffle. If you wish to donate anything for the raffle, or know anyone who would please let us know!
Feel free to bring your bikes! If you plan to grab a lot of the caches you can bike them. A majority are along two lane tracks, however a small portion of the "10" series is along the Florida Trail. This is a HIKING TRAIL ONLY - no horses or bikes!
