Geocache Description:

A series of caches to highlight the diversity and beauty of the "Hereford Zone".

This is the first of many caches to be hidden in the "Hereford Zone", a special area within Baltimore County. Due various factors, the weather in "The Zone" is often very different than the rest of the county. Temperature is often 10 degrees cooler than locations just 10 miles away. Precipitation (specifically snowfall) is often greater as well. This series of caches was placed in random places that we enjoy for a variety of reasons: whether it's the scenery, tranquility, or a traditional spot for the locals, we hope you enjoy the area as much as we do! 

Please beware of your surroundings at this location - it seems many disobey the speed limit! Parking is available very close to GZ.
