Greater Kalamazoo Area Chapter# 22-172 of the American Red Cross. The Chapter operations moved here in 1991 after outgrowing two historical homes on South Street in Kalamazoo. The Chapter expanded operations over the ensuing years to serve Allegan, Cass, Kalamazoo, and St. Joseph counties. In 2011 Red Cross services were "Regionalized" in West Michigan.
Ed the Owl will start his global jouney in this cache and should return in five years (July 31, 2018) after seeing the world on an "international" journey. Hoping to see pictures at other Red Cross Chapters as he travels.
Cache contains a FTF Bug as well as a small plastic Geocaching compass, Red Cross wrist bracelet. There may even be other surprises as time goes by?
Parking is plentiful and the cache is wheelchair accessible but not handicap friendly.
