You can park on the shoulder of the highway and walk down, or, if you have a high clearance vehicle, you can drive down closer. I saw 4 cars down there once, but it became almost impossible to turn around, and someone had to back out, up the hill. If you are west bound, you can park on the right (opposite side of the highway) at 37 56.247 and 119 13.874. Do not let kids or dogs run loose, as there is a cliff about 15 feet to the north and about 50 feet to the east of the cache. If it is windy, don't chase after papers or anything else that blows away. The cache is large for a magnetic, and it is in the only logical place for a magnetic. It still might be a little difficult to find. Just down the highway is a turnout with a good view of the falls. You are at the top of a water fall that is about 50 feet to the east. The water comes out of Ellery Lake at about 9500 feet. Some of the water travels through a tunnel and pipe to feed the Poole Plant hydroelectric station at the bottom of Lee Vining Canyon (there is a cache there also).
