Geocache Description:

Cache is a small size lock and lock containing a log book, pen and stickers required to fill your passport for the 2013 Exhibition Geocache Challenge.

The Crystal Palace was built here in 1851. Designed by the prominent Saint John architect Matthew Stead, it was modelled on the Great Crystal Palace Exhibition of 1851. The building measured sixty feet wide by 120 feet long. The exhibits included local inventions, agricultural goods and domestically manufactured articles. However before 1851 this same site was used for Equestrian Performers in 1841. The Crystal Palace building did not last long as it was replaced by the 1870 by jelly bean houses and a Church.
