Geocache Description:

Cache is a small size lock and lock containing a log book, pen and stickers required to fill your passport for the 2013 Exhibition Geocache Challenge.

This area has a very long history. Hundreds of years ago all sorts of wildlife roamed this marsh area, and even today, heavy rains cause floods in the neighbourhood. Within a five minute walk from this site there used to be a car manufacturer, a nail works, the Three Mile Inn, and one of the largest Boy Scout Camps in the province. In 1930 the horses came to Coldbrook, and during World War Two a military radio station was nearby. In the 1950s this site became the largest entertainment complex in the City where for decades summer entertainment and after 1967, a hockey arena, kept citizens entertained year round.
