We found this spot on our first geocaching quest. It's a peaceful place to rest and ideal for hiding a cache. It is a 1litre lunch box kept in a waterproof camoflage bag with a log book, pencil, sharpener and swappable items. Note this is very hard to find when the area becomes overgrown.
Located on the footpath adjacent to the brook between Tuffley and Kingsway. If you are driving park on Bodiam Avenue by the turning for Arundel Close and take the footpath to Kingsway. If travelling by bus Stagecoach Gold No. 10 get off at Arundel Close stop on Bodiam Avenue. There is a large clearing with several places to sit down between the bridges. I used my phone to get the coordinates so I hope they are accurate. This is a well used area for dog walkers and joggers so please ensure it is placed back securely and well covered. The cache's original swappable items were: Girlguiding cloth badge, Tickled pink band, mini photo frame, bouncy ball and pink aeroplane. There is a 'first to find' certificate ready in the cache. Note we have had to replace this cache and relocateit so please put back carefully and well hidden so the muggles and landscapers don't ruin it.
