Geocache Description:

Located within a small Cemetery in Holden, very quiet spot without the fear of being spotted by muggles. Please respect this spot by walking along the edge of the property while not disturbing any graves. Kindly sign the log and replace the Cache back in its original place of hiding. .

 

Located along the edge of a small Cemetery off Rt. 1A in the town of Holden, you will find parking located at the REAR of the Cemetery. There is a road that runs off of 1A next to the Cemetery. There is no street sign available so I don't think the road is named. Please do not park along busy 1A as it could be very dangerous. It is not advised to park and climb the short hill to the Cemetery along 1A. Please use the parking space available located shorty after turning next to the Cemetery . This is a very quiet, tucked away spot where the chances of being discovered are slim to none. Please sign the log and place the Cache back in its original spot. Please take the time to enjoy this spot as much as I did. I would imagine a trip here with the kids around Halloween would be great fun! Please follow the Maine law that states a person is not permitted to enter or remain in a cemetery or burial ground at any time between 1/2 hour after sunset and 1/2 hour before sunrise the following day. This Cache is most likely not Winter friendly.....
