Geocache Description:

A nice cache in a great area.

Magnolia Woods Recreational Area - Magnolia Woods is a beautiful recreational area built on 25 acres of land. It is home to all of Gloucester’s Soccer programs as it houses seven soccer fields and a small softball field. The park is open to all visitors who can do any of the following activities: bird watch, nature walk, check out the variety of wild flowers growing in the area, and cross country ski in the winter months. Future site improvements include additional parking and restroom facilities. 
 
The walk to the cache takes you to a Fabulous panoramic view of the pond and surrounding woods and swamps worthy of a John Muir photo. The cache site itself not such a great view but handy. The container is a medium size lock&lock cammoed box. it is not far from the trail and well hidden. Please make sure it is hidden as well when you leave. Dogs must be on a leash and under control of the owner. Dog owners MUST clean up after their pet. No night searching.
