The third running of the Summer Vacation Travel Racer Competition is complete!
Thanks to all the participants this year, it was a summer filled with fun, friends, and geocaches! This will be how we wrap the summer up and prepare for next season.
There will be more details about the event to come, but for now here are the particulars:
Where: The Horde Lair (SVTR HQ)
When: Sept 21st @ 4:00 PM
Why: Because we love to get rewarded for geocaching!
Who: Any and all are welcome!
Participation in the race is not a requirement to attend!
Food: Potluck style!
We will supply the grill, some meat, and some drinks...the rest is up to you!
The event will be outside, and there will be a possibility of rain...we live in Washington after all. We do have a couple pop-ups available to us so there will be some shelter. You will need to bring your own chairs...seating in the backyard at the tables is limited.
As mentioned, there will be some updates to come. There will be awards...or what kind of awards banquet would it be?!
Please don't forget your racers! You don't have to be present to get your award. If you can't make it, we understand, and we know how to get a hold of you.
