The Syracuse Public Library is a Carnegie Library and opened to the public March 15, 1921. To this day, it looks very similar to what it did back then. Renovation occurred in 1956 and included finishing the library's basement, which now serves as its children's department. For more information on the library's history, visit www.syracuse.lib.in.us/home/history-of-the-library. Besides being a place to pick up a good book, the Syracuse Public Library hosts several programs throughout the year.
Parking is available along the street in front of the library or across from the library in the municipal parking lot. Library staff know a geocache has been placed.
