The cache in on the historical property of a home built in the 1890's. It once stood proudly on Main Street, but was moved to its present location in the 1980's. The cache has been placed with the owners full permission and cooperation. If the nearby museum is open, take time to visit and discover the history of Transylvania County.
The cache is in a 2-quart size plastic screw top canister with a Geocaching logo on the top. PLEASE tighten well when replacing the canister
It is wheelchair accessible if you have a grabber pole
FYI - su-la-li-gwym is the name for a squirrel doll hidden within the museum as a puzzle for young visitors to find. The name is partially derived from the Cherokee word for squirrel
