Geocache Description:

In 1961 The Olympic Swimming Centre was opened in Limestone Park (know as the Jim Gardiner Pool) which was just up the hill from this cache.


 Jim Gardiner was known as the father of Ipswich swimming and the swim centre was renamed in his honour in 1980. The pool was closed and removed because of structural  damage. This cache is in his memory.  

As you can park very close to the cache, so its a park and grab, but you will need to bring your own ink.

The lid is held in place by a magnet so just pull it off You will need to be careful of where the log sits in the cache when placing the lid back on
