Wapiennik - piec szybowy, przeznaczony do wypalania wapna i skał wapiennych (kamień wapienny), w celu uzyskania z nich wapna palonego.
Wapiennik Łaskawy Kamień w Starej Morawie jest jedynym odrestaurowanym Wapiennikiem typu Rumforda bazującym na projekcie K.F. Schinkla w Polsce. Pokrewne obiekty znajdują się w Niemczech, w Maxen pod Dreznem i Rüdersdorf pod Berlinem (stanowiły eksponat prezentowany w Wystawie Światowej EXPO 2000 w Hannoverze). Sam w sobie jest fascynującym zabytkiem techniki, jego konstrukcja pozwalała inaczej niż w przypadku konwencjonalnych wapienników na permanentne użytkowanie. Przy Wapienniku Łaskawy Kamień znajduje się Galeria Autorska Rodziny Rybczyńskich, pracownie druku artystycznego i czerpania papieru, ogród japoński. Możliwe jest także zwiedzanie obiektu, enklawy parku i ogrodu japońskiego w towarzystwie przewodnika trwa około 35 - 45 minut.

Limestone oven - shaft furnace, intended for burning limestone and limestone rocks, in order to obtain quick lime from them.
Wapiennik Łaskawy Kamień in Stara Morawa is the only restored Rumford type calcareous based on the K.F. Schinkla in Poland. Related facilities are located in Germany, in Maxen near Dresden and Rüdersdorf near Berlin (they were an exhibit presented at the World Exposition EXPO 2000 in Hanover). In itself, it is a fascinating monument of technology, its construction allowed differently than in the case of conventional lime kilns for permanent use. At the Wapiennik Łaskawy Kamień there is the Gallery of the Fishermen's Family, art printing and drawing studios, and a Japanese garden. It is also possible to visit the facility, the enclave of the park and the Japanese garden in the company of a guide takes about 35 - 45 minutes.
