This is the start of the Merry Widow Mountain Trail. The lower portion of the trail has two inch square yellow reflective tags marking the trail. Enjoy the view, the trail, and the view at the cairn at the top of the mountain. If the weather is clear, from the mountain top, you can see the ocean on both sides of Vancouver Island.
The Keogh Mainline is an active logging road and all users are asked to drive SAFELY. The road up the mountain is best suited to a quad or dirt bike but a serious off roader that doesn't mind a "Flintstones Car Wash" could also drive up. You Choose.
