O cache encontra-se perto de um canto histórico da freguesia da Maia, onde a água corre abundantemente.

The cache is located near an historic corner of Maia's parish, where water flows abundantly.

Maia - Ribeira Grande, freguesia de onde fazem parte alguns dos locais mais conhecidos da ilha de São Miguel, tais como a fábrica de chá Gorreana, museu do tabaco, solar do Lálem (1742) entre outros. Também onde residiu o célebre autor escritor Açoriano - Daniel de Sá.

Maia - Ribeira Grande, parish of which are part some of the most well known places in São Miguel Island, such as Gorreana tea factory, tobacco museum, solar de Lalem (Manor House of 1742) among others. Also the birthplace of a well known Azorean author writer - Daniel de Sá.
