The old Ilparpa Quarry is an historic site, the source of stone for many old buildings in Alice Springs dating from the 1920s until well after the Second World War. Some of the original loading ramp remains in place, along with a cut away road up to the quarry site itself. If you climb the ridge, you'll get spectaular views of the MacDonnell Ranges and a glimpse of the American spy base, Pine Gap.
Alternatlvely, you can just grab the cache and head on by to your next find.
This *could* be a tricky hide - on par with some of the 'Rock of Ages' caches in Katherine. The container is a mini-camo decon contatiner with a few nice swaps for the FTF.
