Questo cache è stato nascosto in occasione dell'International geocaching day del 17 agosto 2013. Questo evento è stato organizzato e realizzato da ThaTwinz assieme a chia.signo e JKSman.
Inaugurato nel 1999 grazie al Comune di Vicenza, Legambiente e a numerosi gruppi di volontari, il parco si estende lungo il fiume Retrone ed occupa un’area di 40 mila metri quadri completa di campo da calcio, pallavolo e scuola di kayak, ed è la sede di numerose manifestazioni cittadine, la più importante delle quali è Festambiente.
Parco Retrone è il luogo ideale per fare passeggiate, stare all’ombra degli alberi, fare lunghe pedalate in bicicletta grazie alle nuovissime piste ciclabili che seguono il fiume, il tutto sullo sfondo dei colli berici.

This geocache was placed for the geocaching event on August 17th, 2013. This event was planned and executed by ThaTwinz together with Chia.Signo and JKSman.
Opened in 1999, thanks to the City of Vicenza, Legambiente and several groups of volunteers, the park extends along the Retrone river and occupies an area of 40 thousand square meters with soccer field, volleyball and kayaking school, and is the location where many city events are organized, the most important of which is Festambiente.
Retrone park is the ideal place for walking, stay in the shade of the trees, taking long bike rides thanks to the brand new bike paths that follow the river, all against the backdrop of the hills berici.
