Kopiec Sienkiewicza Traditional Cache

Kopiec znajdujący się w Okrzei, usypany w latach 1932–1938 na cześć pisarza Henryka Sienkiewicza przez ludność z całej Polski, a nawet zagranicy. Ma on 15 m wysokości względnej, średnicę podstawy 45 m, a został usypany z 6000 m³ ziemi. Z jego wierzchołka roztacza się widok na okolicę. Na szczycie Kopca Sienkiewicza znajduje się wysoki na 2,7 m, odsłonięty w 1980 roku, pomnik pisarza.

The mound located in Okrzei was built between 1932 and 1938 in honor of the writer Henryk Sienkiewicz by people from all over Poland and abroad. It stands 15 meters high, with a base diameter of 45 meters, and was constructed using 6,000 cubic meters of earth. From its summit, one can enjoy a panoramic view of the surrounding area. At the top of the Sienkiewicz Mound, there is a 2.7 meters tall monument to the writer, unveiled in 1980.
