Geocache Description:

This is a family friendly cache adjacent to a major Saskatchewan highway. Across the highway is the beautiful Arm River Valley ... take a moment to have a look and enjoy the view. You will park on a gravel road within sight of, but well off the highway.

I have travelled Highway 11 between Moose Jaw and Saskatoon for many years but had never pulled off the highway to visit this village. At a social gathering in MJ, I met some residents (there are only 28 of them) and, as they were friendly folk, I took the time to visit the village my next time by.  I was attracted by the short line railway and some old traction motors that were laying in the grass.  In my early years, I worked on similar traction motors in the electric shop of a mining company (hence the name `Motor On').  I thought ``What a great place for a cache.`` I returned a few weeks later with six of my nine grandchildren to place the cache, but alas, the motors had been removed.  We found another spot in the area and placed the cache (our first). What a great day of making memories together!!!

The container is a large brown peanut butter jar with a green lid.  The grandkids have hidden it well. The cache is best approached from the NW to avoid climbing over most of the rubble ... there is nothing in the cache worth breaking a leg for!

In addition to a logbook and pencils, the original contents of the cache include:

A Hot Wheels toy car
A set of precision screwdrivers
A `Farkle`game
A set of game dice
Several keychains, Canada Beaver, Canada Moose Head, others
Canada Souvenir Pin
Canada Pens, luggage tag (Can you tell we are proud Canadians?)
A travel bug named "Cupcake"  ... in memory of a favorite horse

I would like to maintain the quality of the swag in this cache. Please limit the trades to one per visit.
