Dun Dubh ‘Black Fort’ it was said to have a cave in which fairies lived, and to be full of treasure.
An interesting view point which looks down onto Dun Fionn. A bit of a diversion from the circular route. There is the option of going via the Clauchland hills or a low level walk along the forestry road back to the Lamlash Brodick Car Park.
