Arran is a beautiful and diverse island located off the West coast of Scotland. The island, some 19 miles in length and 10 miles wide, is often described as ‘Scotland in miniature’ which makes it perfect as a holiday destination.
Whilst there, one of the must-see places is the Clauchland Hills which are to the East of the A841 main road. There are numerous footpaths and rights of way heading through the pine forest as well as a multitude of places to stop and enjoy the views over the surrounding countryside and across the water to Holy Island.
