By the Brook Traditional Cache

A Micro in Saltney

Balderton Brook is one of the many tributaries inton the River Dee, it helps drain off the local fields and can get quite full at times after a lot of rain. It runs through the middle of Saltney and has just been treated to a £500,000 project by the Environment Agency to help reduce the risk of flooding to the local area. 

The cache itself is placed near to where the brook enters the populated area of Saltney from the fields. In the early morning a great sun rise can often be seen from just across the road from here especially in the winter.

There is no parking as such at the cache site, but parking can be found near-by to enable a drive by or if you are walkign the cache is easily available as it is just off the road side.

This road can be busy at times so please keep an eye on young ones when looking for the cache.
