In 2008 Peugeot purpose built this new head office but the site has long been ingrained in Coventry's motoring history - originally being home to a Rootes Factory and later seeing production of the Talbot Sunbeam (hence road name). The old head office building, Aldermoor House, sat where you now see a new-build housing development. Peugeot was joined at this site by sister company Citroen in 2012.
The Peugeot family business was founded in Montbéliard, France in 1810 and from its roots in the steel industry has manufactured everything from rods for crinoline dresses to the pepper grinders, bicycles, scooters and cars which are still sold today.
