There used to be a cache here that explained geobstrd's unique name. This is how I heard it.
Poor geobstrd. Everyone assumes he purposely left the vowels out of his name when in fact bstrd stands for Bachelor of Science in the Technology of Rail Disasters. He works at the major locomotive manufacturer in Erie and ever since he earned his degree and was promoted to Test Track Safety Coordinator not a single locomotive has run off the track. This ones for you geobstrd. Keep those locomotives on track!
geobstrd has since retired so I figure he oughta have some time to inspect guardrails and bridges.Enjoy!
