Geocache Description:

This is a simple drive-by cache that will not take long to find.
The road here can be very busy at times, please drive and park sensibly. You could park right by the cache on the grass verge.

The cache is placed near the compound where the old Wallerscote Road Gasometer (Gasholder) once stood.
The term gasometer was originally coined by William Murdoch, the inventor of gas lighting, in the early 19th century.

We were unable to find a picture of the Gasholder so we have tried to re-create it.

Poor satellite coverage.
The number of satellites that are "overhead" may be an issue when using a GPS in tree cover.
If you are in an area with lots of trees, then you may not get a 'signal lock' and your location may not be accurate or even displayable.

Cache is a small screw cap tube, with a pencil.
