This series is designed to get you out of the car and hiking some really nice trails around the state. I have hidden these caches in Weetamoo Woods, Mt. Hope Farm, Wolf Hill, Ryan Park and The Great swamp. The hikes range from under a mile to more than 3 miles. In each of these locations there are also many other great caches for you to find as well.
In addition, on the inside of the cover of each of these caches as well as in the back of the logbooks there are pieces of coordinates to a final bonus cache which is located in my favorite hiking spot, Big River. You must find all 5 of the "Take a Hike R.I." caches before you can go for the final.
Welcome to Mt. Hope Farm! Although it is not the shortest hike, the terrain is probably the easiest. There is a paved trail almost all the way to gz. As with all of this series, there are also plenty of other great caches to find here and the scenery here is absolutely beautiful! The hike is about 2 miles round trip. Enjoy!
