“COMPADRE CACHE” is to remember our friends that have crossed the rainbow bridge, It doesn’t matter who your pet was, a bird, dog, fish, cat rat, hamster, or any other animal. Share a story about your friend in the log if you like or just score a smiley. This is a similar cache to Mutsley & Crews “Companion Cache” and gave their blessing to me using the idea. Cinder was a big clunky headed Rottweiler mix that found me at the Hennepin County Humane Society in 1999. She was the only puppy in the whole building and I was 5th in line to coax her out of the cage she was in. Everybody opened the door and called her, she just laid in the back of the cage with her snooter over her paws watching but not moving. When it came my turn I opened the box and called her and she got up and crawled in to my arms. That was the start of 10 great years doing things together and the time was way, way too short when she left this world but I wouldn’t trade those years for anything. - - - - -
This cache is a quick 2 stage multi and starts at the listed coordinates, you will be looking for a sign.
There is ample room to safely pull off the road so please do so! When you locate the sign, record the number.
Final coords are: N 47º 47 ABC, W 091º 41 DEF
To find the answer for ABC, take the number on the sign and subtract 41,
To Find the answer to DEF, take the number on the sign and add 242.
The final is an ammo can.
Congrats to Aix Sponsa for the FTF!!! There is an old road to pull in to at the final stage so please be safe and do not park on the highway! Please feel free to share any stories or pictures of your friend, there is room in the log book too! The Idea for this cache came from Companion Cache by Mutsley & Crew. There caches are so creative!
