This lock 'n lock cache is part of a group of caches placed in the Johnstown area to celebrate the Bicentennial of Johnstown, Ohio in 2013. Dr. Oliver Bigelow donated the land and planned the village in 1813. Visit all of these caches to learn more of this town's history. Happy 200th Birthday Johnstown.
An important change came to town when the railroad was constructed here in 1880. After this addition to the town, the population more than tripled from 1880 to 1920 (from 278 to 906 people). Parking is available in the adjacent lot. This is a good cache for travel bugs: a travel bug hotel! It is a perfect place to wait to continue on their journey.
