The Geo-Kidlet wanted to go for an evening bike ride. Little did he know, I've had containers packed and ready to go for quite some time now. Grabbed the backpack and we were off! This area of the trail was tilled and ready for the planting, that's for sure. He got to bike, so I got to cache. We have ideas for more, but there is only so much you can do as the sun is setting.
This section of the Centennial Trail, an enormously popular recreational trail for walking, bicycling, hiking, and horseback riding, was opened November 2012. Parking is available at the Nakashima Barn trailhead.
Cache is a little less than a mile up the paved section of trail. The trail is typically well maintained, and I do not see overgrowth being much of an issue to access the cache, which is just a few short steps off the trail. Ground is uneven in this area, be careful.
Please hide the cache as well as you found it. I do not know how long it may last in this area.
Nice shiny, red bison for FTF!
