This is a perfect place to park in order to complete the series, but can also be done as a cache & dash if required.
The entire route takes in a variety of terrains, including grass, ploughed fields (depending on the time of year), dirt track and tarmac. As a result, you should expect some part of the walk to be wet and/or muddy.
You can expect to encounter plenty of sheep and a few cows along the way - none of which caused us any cause for concern! The majority of stiles are dog-friendly and those that aren't were still successfully negotiated one way or another by our ageing dobermann. Sorry, but this route is not recommended for buggies or strollers.
