This is one of several caches we have placed around Barton-le-Clay, having previously been surprised that there were not more in this lovely large Bedfordshire village. Mr Chesher's parents live in the village and carry out the maintenance for all the caches. All of 'thecheshers' caches are close to the old A6 that runs through the village, so can be done as a quick 'cache and dash' or combined into a walk around the village, or up the nearby Barton Hills or Sharpenhoe Clappers.
If arriving by car, park in one of several nearby residential areas with roadside parking (off Higham Road from the North, or off Grange Road to the South). Local Luton-Bedford bus routes stop very close to this cache, with both towns accessible by train. The new container for this cache is a 'disco', disguised magnetic container, and as such please take care when replacing (surprisingly few surfaces nearby are magnetic!). This may be something of a stretch for some cachers. Please accept our apologies if it really is out of reach!
