My 10-year-old son has been bitten by the geocaching bug so he made this cache and gathered its contents all on this own. He even made his own log. He and his brother discovered the Selma Held Park improvements this summer and thought they love that they always have the park to themselves in some ways, but they both agree that they want more people to be there.
The City of Helena did a great job with the equipment. It's your usual park fare, but also some cool additions that parents will even enjoy. There is a walking path around the park as well as a beautiful community garden. The park is directly behind a retirement home and I imagine they'll enjoy watching the cachers.
As I said, this is 100% my son's cache from the container to the location. So, my tip to all you cachers - He really wanted to make it tough. You're going to have to arrive at the park with a positive attitude and time to look. If you have kids, no worries, they'll be much entertained by the park.
The cache is wrapped in camo tape and is about 3 inches by 2 inches. It is a recycle container for a stamp kit. If I get too many DNFs, I'll swing by the park and make some adjustments to the top-secret, mission impossible OH WAIT, make that "Cache Impossible."
Happy caching!
