Geocache Description:

The State Theatre, a South Bend landmark, opened in 1921 as the Blackstone Vaudeville House. In 1934 John Dillinger robbed the Merchants National Bank, across from the theatre. A shootout ensued with officers and Dillinger got away, but he was soon gunned down by the FBI in Chicago. You can even see bullet holes outside the theatre today. The State Theatre served as a movie theatre for many years and eventually closed in 1977.

The cache can be found just adjacent to the State Theatre. To find this cache you will need to be discreet and use stealth.
