Geocache Description:

There are four Road Safety Towns in Hong Kong, located in Shatin, North Point, Sau Mau Ping and Tuen Mun respectively. Each of them provides a simulated road environment to enhance children's awareness of road safety. They are owned and managed by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department while lectures on road safety are delivered by police officers of the Road Safety Team.

The towns attracted more than 48,000 visitors of all ages in 2012. Every effort is made to make the visits more interesting and Road Safety messages more sustainable.

This multi-cache brings you inside the Shatin Road Safety Park for a short tour. Since this is also a children's cycling park, during weekends you are very likely to meet some happy kids playing here. Therefore feel free to BYOB (Bring Your Own Bike) if you have geokids. However, please keep in mind that only bikes with wheel rim diameter of less than 30cm is allowed inside this park.
