Yararoo School 1928-1938
This was the second school that had been named Yararoo, it is situated at the corner of Borlace and Yarroo roads.The land that the school was built on was donated by the Borlace Family and in true government style, the Borlace Family had to buy it back once the school closed. The building was made of burnt lime and pug, very little stone was used,its noted that due to its exposed location it was a pain to keep clean in the drier months. Good attendance rates were noted even though families sending children there were suffering from financial hardship.Even though the school only lasted ten years it would have closed three years earlier but for a number of local farming families that made sure that their eldest children attended beyond their needs, so that younger children could have access to a school close by
