The cache is high up at the end of a ridge beneath the peak of La Muda, the views are fantastic.
Although the cache is at a high altitude, the parking place is at 350 metres. The walk to the cache has a path (of sorts) and is seldom very steep. For these reasons the cache can easily be managed in trainers and is suitable for children under supervision. However younger children should be strictly supervised in the region of the cache, underfoot is solid rock but there are very steep falls to the sides.
In addition there are plenty of sights to see with the springs and the goatherders buildings.
The usual warning still applies to this cache, As with all walking in Fuerteventura, because of the rocky terrain, ALWAYS look where you place your feet, if you wish to admire the scenery, stop walking and plant your feet securely.
Please ensure that the cache is replaced exactly where it was found, the lid is secured and covered with the rocks.
